UTP Blitz "Malaysia Day" 2022

CATEGORY: Individual event, open to all registered students and staff from UTP.

DATE AND TIME: 15th September 2022 (Thursday), 9:30 pm – 11:00 pm 

SYSTEM OF PLAY: Lichess Swiss System, 6 Rounds. 

TIME CONTROL: 5 minutes + 3 seconds for each player.  

ENTRY FEE: FOC

CLOSING DATE FOR REGISTRATION: 15 September 2022, Thursday, 9 pm.

MAIN PRIZES: 1st=RM50, 2nd=RM40, 3rd=RM30, 4th=RM20, 5th-10th=RM10 

CONSOLATION PRIZES: 3 Best Girl=RM10 each, Best Rating 500-999, 1000-1199, 1200-1399, 1400-1599=RM10 each.

RULES AND REGULATIONS:

1. Players are not allowed to cheat or use external assistance during the game (such as using a computer or assistance from another player). 

2. The winner will be contacted after the tournament finish. The winner who does not registered through MS Forms will not get the prizes.

3. Players are responsible for their own internet connection and equipment used.

4. Players are advised to read and understand rules and regulations set by lichess.org.
