RESULT:
CATEGORY: Individual event. Open to all registered students and staff from any universities, colleges or institute of higher learning in Perak.
DATE AND TIME: 29th May 2021 (Saturday), 9:30 pm – 11:00 pm (1 hour & 30 minutes)
SYSTEM OF PLAY: Arena system using www.lichess.org website. Time control: 5 minutes + 3 seconds for each player. “Berserk” and “Arena Streaks” are not allowed.

PRIZES: 1st: RM150, 2nd: RM120, 3rd: RM100, 4th: RM70, 5th: RM50, 6th-7th: RM40, 8th – 10th: RM30, 11th – 15th: RM20. All winners will get e-Certificate of Achievement. All participants will receive e-Certificate of Participation.
RULES AND REGULATIONS:
1. Players are not allowed to cheat or use external assistance during the game (such as using a computer or assistance from another player). Any cheating case will be reported to the respective University or Institution administrator and the cheater cannot win any prize and certificate.
2. Players are required to have a Lichess account registered at least 1 week before the event and had played at least 30 rated rapid or blitz games. Players must submit the Lichess ID through google form and this ID cannot be changed. The organizer reserves the right to ban any suspicious Lichess account from this event.
3. Only registered players who had made payment can participate in this tournament.
4. Organizer has the right to change the schedule, update the regulations or decide for any matter that is not mentioned in the rules and regulations.
5. Players are responsible for their own internet connection and equipment used.
6. Every registered player is required to enter WhatsApp group created by the organizer to join the tournament. The link will be given after the registration and payment has been made.
7. The player with the most points (2 points for a win and 1 point for a draw) will be announced as a winner. The final list of all winners will be announced on 30th May 2021, Sunday, 10 am through WA group. If two or more players have the same number of points, the tournament performance is the tie break. Players are advised to read and understand Arena tournament rules and regulations set by lichess.org.
8. In the event of a dispute over any problems, the Organizer’s decision shall be final.
